She asks, “Are there health issues? Are the proponents following the rules? Have we made the right decisions about energy infrastructure? Those are the questions we have to answer.” Anybody want to help her out with the obvious??? Send her the answers here.
Funny how every word she says, I hear as lies, doublespeak, lies and more doublespeak. Liberals wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them on the ass, which it has done many times.
My message to Kathleen* Everyone, by now, is well aware of the countless reasons why this wind energy fiasco is not working. I believe, you must also know the truth by now. There are far too many negatives, and no real, proven, benefits to wind turbines in the sizes and configurations they are putting them in now. They are way too close to humans, and they are destroying our environment, not helping it. Financially, we are going down the tubes over this. My family, like many others, is energy-poor, and our reward for this, is to be threatened with turbines surrounding us, one as close as 550m. Your government needs to step up and do the right thing. Repeal the GEA, and the FIT program, and the problem will take care of itself. We need to end these carpet-baggers packing, and the sooner, the better. Cancel these projects for the simple reason, that the product they have sold us, cannot be proven to have any net benefit whatsoever. End of story.
They are paid by and back up by large corporate money. They are failing to help and prevent true peace here in our community but to destroy our peaceful living to a hell hole. We constantly have to fight bigger nastier larger than ever richer corporations that we continue to feed them our energy and $$$$$$ so they can more or less buy themselves out of any conflict. Until we stop feeding these pricks
Start a petition to “dissolve” the Provincial Government altogether!..what good are they?…………..every municipality could then assume control over 1/3 of their tax dollars which goes straight into these crooks pockets…….total elimination of one money sucking tier of Government would then make our lame councils more accountable and Democratic. The Federal Government could assume control over provincial agencies such as the OPP, education and Health care while local governments could manage their own roads and infrastructure within their boundaries. Sounds crazy? Probably, but it would be an interesting subject to delve into wouldn’t it?

It sure would give our useless provincial government some serious food for thought. What have they done, that we can’t do better. The rural communities should be allowed to make the decisions that will affect them the greatest. It only makes sense. How can some suit in Toronto that doesn’t know squat about the people and issues in the rural areas, make decisions that will affect us, and not them? It only makes sense to put the power back where it belongs….with the people. The provincial government has proven, that they definitely DO NOT have our best interests at heart. They are useless in my books. Let’s declutter….and start with the Liberals, followed soon by the NDP, and anyone else who considers destroying rural Ontario as “collateral damage”, in order to make fatcats rich, and fool ignorant people into believing they are doing it for their own good…..What garbage!!!
